I took only my phone. I wore the same clothes in and out of the hospital. The only other thing is a toothbrush.

I would take a LONG charging cord for your cell phone. Change of clothing, toothbrush, lotion, tooth paste, brush for your hair and slippers to walk around the hospital and may be a book to read if bored. Hospitals are filty dirty and just letting you know to always wear something on your feet! Have a pillow for the ride home!

Take a SHOWER before or the day of your surgery!

NEVER walk barefoot at the hospital.
