So I am 5 days post op. I burped some in the hospital but never passed gas. I think my intestines just took longer to wake up. Well yesterday they rumble and today it's worse. Will it settle down? If so is it just noisy right after you eat or an hour later? I need to try and plan for it to be quiet during a meeting next week.

I'm 1 day and in the same boat. A little burping but gas. Interested in seeing the responses.

I am 1 month post op.......the noises will continue. My family thinks its hysterical.

I'm 7 weeks post-op and my stomach is generally pretty quiet unless I eat too much and/or too quickly.
