Hello all-
I was banded last Wed (11/7/07) and had a very rough recovery in the hospital- had to stay 2 extra days. I have air trapped in my face/neck and look like the Shallow Hal or Klump characters! It is so bad my 3yr old asked me why the doctor gave me a Jabba the Hut face at the hospital!!
All vanity aside, it hurts like heck and is very difficult to breathe/sleep/move. The docs keep telling it me it will go away on it's own within a few days, but it gets better then worse throughout each day.
Has anyone had this problem (they call it crepitus(sp?) or subcutaneous air)? Any survival/comfort recommendations?
