Post op food

Just seeing if anyone has any suggestions on what to eat later down the process after surgery. Can you still have coffee?

  • I poured blk coffee in the one ounce cups they give you at the hospital and sipped on it just to have the taste in the beginning. If I remember right it’s a clear liquid but ask your doctor.

I drink coffee, I use sugar free creamer. I’ve always been a coffee drinker and my doctor said it was ok. Right after surgery it was like I didn’t was it but around the 2 or 3 month mark I was back to my old coffee habit. With out sugar.

Without regular sugar and they say to never drink it caffeinated.
