Insurance

They told me it’s not covered. Is there anything I can try?

Do you have a copy of your plan documents? If it says no WLS coverage than there is not much you can do unless you want to self pay.

There are Drs in the US that will give a good cash price but it seems that more people end up going to Mexico for self pay. The facilities and care can be top notch there and very reasonable if you do your research.

Good luck to you.

Do your insurance offer claims coordination or patient care coordinator? Sometimes they can help go through process of filing a special needs claim if your doctor feels its life or death for you to have the surgery.
