I'm sorry to tell you this, but excess gas is a by product of a gastric bypass surgery. Due to malabsorption more food reaches your colon before it is digested which results in higher levels of gas (not to mention a more malodorous variety). I believe there are some treatments to help counter this (supplements and, don't laugh but they make charcoal filters for your pants).

As for the weight loss that's a different thing and it's hard to make a recommendation without knowing where you are in the journey. Are you closing in on your goal weight or are you looking at what looks like a stall without explanation far from your goal?

Hi I am 50 pounds close to my go weight and for my gas problem it more burping very bad burping from my mouth I hardly go from the other end i wish I did some days I just don’t want to eat it’s a lot

Have you tried over the counter gas relief (gas-x)? Also other than the burping is it accompanied by any other symptom like heartburn?

yes I have tried that and beano nothing works i just don’t know what else I don’t get heartburn just burping a lot

Can I ask, are you eating slowly? My advisory was that burping is often an early symptom of 8ndigestion - eating a bit much or a bit fast.

As for your comment that you are not losing weight just now - maybe just a stall?

How many calories a day are you getting? And grams of protein? Oz or water??

75 grams water 30 oz i am trying to get more in 1200 calories a day will i try too but i get full fast
