Can't Keep Anything Down

Hello,

I am 4-5 weeks out from surgery and I can't keep anything down, solids or liquids. I have also been experiencing constipation, could this be why?

Constipation could be from dehydration, and if you're not keeping anything down including water, that might be exasperating the issue.

Were you keeping water/protein down before this? If so, what changed between now and then? Could you be coming down with something?

More information would be helpful.

Water is about the only thing I can keep down. My doctor says constipation is normal because the lack of fiber/etc. I’m not sure what changed, I was doing so well. I think I am going to step back from solids and try soups again to see if that will help.

That's a good idea. I hope you feel better soon! Keep us posted on how you are doing.
