I'm 2 weeks post op on my vsg surgery. As Im watching TV all I see is FOOD and I'm just devouring it in my thoughts! Is anyone going thru this?! I have cheated and maybe I should have not gotten this surgery bcuz I've already failed! I've had like 3 pieces of chips, drinking my soup with chicken and a lil potatoes. However, I didn't over do it. It's just to taste. Is have lost 21 lbs since my surgery date on 11/20/17 but still afraid that I'm not going to lose as much bcuz of these hunger craves. I feel that I am depriving myself now and when that day comes of eating "anything" I will fail again! As much as I drink my protein (which is hard to get them 70g in) and my water and my puree/soft foods, I don't wanna gain weight or stop losing weight. I have heard that 6 months is the tops to stop losing weight. Is there anyone going thru this that can share any thoughts with me?
Thank you!
