Insurance headache

Soooooo............. I had my surgery date and was ready to go for December 26th to only get the dreaded call that my insurance will not approve the surgery to take place in Mount Sinai hospital. So now I am in the process of being transferred from one surgeon to another.

I think dealing with the health insurance company was the greatest pain I experienced during the process. More than the surgery itself. Good luck and just keep focused on your end goal.

Thank goodness it was a seamless transfer. 30 minutes later and I have been transferred over to St. Lukes with a new surgeon and new surgery date, December 14th.
