As of today, it's been 156 days (approx 5 mos post op) since my mini gastric sleeve surgery. I am still having doubts that I will reach my goal weight.

I guess since I haven't been there in at least 30 years, it's hard to imagine ever getting there again. I am in a stall. I keep going up or down 1 or 2 lbs and am

eager for the scale to start declining again. Will I ever reach the 100 club again? I think I am losing a lot of inches even though I'm not losing lbs. People are

noticing and saying things now. I'm not good at accepting the compliments when I know how much farther I have to go. I've lost 57 lbs since my highest weight

and have gone down at least 2 sizes, but of course, I still have the smaller sizes in my closet so I haven't changed my wardrobe very much. And, I still would love

to lose 60 to 80 more lbs. I need to know how much others have lost at this point in their journey. I'm hoping if I hear some success stories it will keep me moving

forward. It's hard to do this weight loss thing even after surgery. Surgery helps, but it's still difficult every day.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
