Post-op Appointment Success!

I was sleeved on 8/14 & just got home from my 2 week post-op with the surgeon. Excited to see I am down 20 lbs in two weeks. Even more excited to start purees and soft foods today!!!! That first bite of cottage cheese was delectable.

The first 10 days were rough for me, but my body has seemed to have adjusted somewhat. I'm feeling a lot better, almost like this may just be worth it. (If you had asked me on day 10, I probably would have chewed your head off--either from anger or hunger.)

Here's to the next phase of my journey!

Congrats! I bet that cottage cheese was divine!
I've got one more week to go before my 2 week post-op, but I'll only be able to do pureed foods for 2 weeks after that, and then I get to soft foods. Lucky you! Keep up the good work!

Oh, I remember when I got to have some greek yogurt, and was like YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS... yeah on your cottage cheese. Congrats on a great post-op visit.
