Long Term Regain

Hi All - am posting this in the 2009 and 2008 sub-forums. I am considering getting VSG. I read some recent research that suggests there can be weight regain of 30 - 40% 10 years after surgery. Apologies if this question is inappropriate in any way, but could any of the members who got VSG in this time frame comment on their experience, 8, 9, 10 years out with respect to ability to maintain weight-loss, and share some insights into the issues / challenges. Thanks in advance.
