uper gi question

Hello everyone

I have been banded by Dr. Spivak a little over a year ago but have lost only about 25lb (I was at about 40bmi). My question to the forum is: has anyone have had a endoscopy (upper gi) with the band??? I told my docter that it has been tightened (about2cc) and he said that its not a problem and that he has done hundreds of pts with the band and that i do not need to loosten it before hand. I'm kinds of conserned since my band is extreemly tempermental and I don't want to p**s it off any more. The reason for the gi is because I have Crohn's dz and this little band has put me pritty much in remesion:) but i have had some issues since my last gi visit (3yrs ago) and he wants to check me from one end to the other:rolleyes:

So what does everyone think????
