Hi everyone! My name is Tonya and I am currently shopping Gastric Balloon procedures. I have looked into the Sleeve and Bypass procedures too and really like them but feel like the Balloon gives me a tool to change my life in a permanent way without permanently altering my body with surgery.
Any recommendations on who to trust in Mexico (or who not to trust...)? Costs locally are $7000 (Orbera) and $6,900 (Reshape) cash/credit up front. These prices include nutritional counseling, procedure, removal, and visits with the doctor. Insurance does not cover any costs for weight loss procedures including the sleeve or bypass.
I am also just trying to catch up on the forum to see total weight loss and weight loss maintained after the balloon. :o)
