Bipolar losers

Are there any bipolar 'losers' out there who've had problems losing weight post op due to drugs that are needed to stabilise moods? One major problem mood stabilizer is Seroquel (quetiapine)

I'm concerned that my weight loss is going to be tough due to this drug in particular.

I was on lithium but for whatever reason, after surgery, I couldn't tolerate the pills and the liquid was so nasty. So I was switched to lamictal and I have no problems with my mood or losing weight thus far. :)

I'm on lamictal as well. For fourteen years I've tried to change to other meds but they've actually made me depressed! So I go back to Seroquel [emoji20]

My surgery is on the 12th June.
Dr Matthew Weiner at Mount Sinai Hospital on one his clips on YouTube states that people with bipolar disorder don't lose as much weight.
