Post opp surgery

I just had my gastric sleeve on yesterday and I am doing great. The only problem is the gas. It feels like a heart attack. Has anyone experienced this?

Good for you on the surgery not the gas. There are a few people who mentioned has issues and said beano worked. My surgery is May 15 so I hope I can help myself with this information.

Body cavity gas - the pains probably in your shoulder or side can only be relieved by walking. The pains you feel when drinking liquid is gas that can be helped by gasX or chewable tabs or liquids for gas (baby gas med) but honestly if you can work up a burp- it will resolve quicker and you will feel so much better. Congratulations!!!

WALKING is the best remedy. My doctor advised not to use gasx and things like that right away and to walk it out. Walking is good for gas and also to prevent blood clots.
