The thing to do here is to consult your diet plan, and if that doesn't tell you, then call your NUT or surgeon. Every plan is different. I will tell you that 4 weeks out, I personally was allowed to eat pureed beans, not whole beans. But again, check on the plan assigned to YOU :)

At 4 weeks out i was allowed regular foods. You should chew everything up so finely anyways

As long as you are allowed soft or puréed foods at this point, then yes beans are an excellent food! The fiber is great for making you feel full and keeping the old intestinal system running smoothly, if you know what I mean.
