After I had RNY gastric bypass surgery, I became lactose intolerant. Anytime I drank milk or something that contained lactose it was immediate upset stomach and a quick trip to the bathroom with diarrhea. Some Protein shakes contain lactose. Anyways I cut out the lactose and I was fine. This condition lasted for around 2 months and then I was back to normal.

I guess the first thing I would do is check the foods you are eating and make a list if any certain ones cause this or if everything causes it. I had the surgery 3 1/2 years ago and just now I am allergic to about 38 different things. But in the beginning sugar caused dumping in me and I know a lot of others reacted that way when they had milk products. But Milk also has sugar in it as well. But that is where I would start. If eliminating milk fixes the problem talk with your doctor about how you can have Protein shakes that don't have milk products in them or eat the foods that don't have sugar. You'd be amazed at what foods metabolize into carbs and which ones actually have more sugar than your body can absorb properly especially when your stomach is so small.
