Stomach Pains

I had my surgery 12/28 my doctor also fixed a hernia. I am having a hard time getting down my liquids and foods because of the severe pain in my stomach as the food or drink goes down it doesn't matter if its hot or cold water or crytsal light everything hurts can anyone tell me anything that may relieve the pain and how long does this last?
