Ugh Colds

I caught a wicked cold. My surgery date is 12/21. I have been doing all kinds of cold meds and Neti pots but today I still feel terrible. If I don't get my surgery on Wednesday it may be postponed until February. That would make this a $5,000 cold (new deductible). Did anyone else have a cold and still get their surgery?
