help!

So i'm about 3 months post-op from my rny and it has been the most rewarding yet challenging period of my life so far. Something i'm really struggling with recently is what i have heard called 'sliming.' The only way i can describe this is intense chest pain and over-salivation after i eat, which becomes so painful/uncomfortable i ultimately throw up. Anyone know what could lead to this other than the speed at which i eat?? I've tried slowing down and continue to separate my food and beverage but it feels like every other meal i still find myself getting sick. how long does this period of 'sliming' last?! i'm seriously struggling with this!!!!
