Approval - took 6 months

I thought it would be quicker but since I had not regularly visited the doctor in the past few years, I didn't have enough recorded weights.

I have united healthcare. The nurse manager wasn't a big help. She initially told me the weights were needed from past 5 years. This caused some delay. My recommendation for those that do not have recorded weights is to make your appointment with your PCP, discuss your reason and show up each month to record your weight. This extra time it took was beneficial as it gave me much time to think about this procedure.

Excited. Scheduled surgery for Sept. 27th.
