4 Weeks Post-op

Hello everyone! My name is TySimone, I'm 38 years old and had my procedure on June 28th. This has been one of the best decisions I've made. I woke up one day in April frustrated with my weight. I've tried it all...Herbalife, Weight Watchers, Working out and even starvation. I'm the type of person who don't stick to anything if I'm not seeing major results fast, so lets just say I failed at everything. After looking at all my options, it became clear to me that I was addicted to sugar and nothing was gonna work. I called my benefits and checked on bariatric surgery. The surgery was covered 100% in network. Northern Virginia PPO healthcare plans have no wait period, therefore in two moths after completing my pre-requisites for surgery, I received an approval through insurance and a surgery date. I went through BluePoint Medical Associates and they are awesome!!!

Prior to two week fast: 239 lbs

Day of surgery: 225 lbs

1 month post-op: 210 lbs

Total weight loss: 29 lbs

Current stage of food: Mushy/soft food
