Post OP Pains

3 weeks post op today and I still have pain to the right of my belly button when walking. When working out I hold my stomach to stop the pain but wondering if this is normal?

Im 2 weeks post op in 4 days. I have a pain on the left hand side that feels a bit like a stitch sometimes when I walk or roll over in bed. Your insides will take some time to heal.

So yes, I think its pretty normal unless of course its unbearable pain.

As a guy who has reoccurring umbilical hernias........I can only advise to be careful and let things heal. Mine was repaired during my sleeve surgery....and it's already a mess. Will be getting yet another patch job done later this year.

I guess I must have punished my abdominal muscles a great deal over the years....stretched them beyond the way they were intended to work.
