I had my RNY on December 14, 2015. So far, I have lost 40lbs. I am in the process of slowing introducing new foods and it has been a challenge. The foods that I think we'll make me sick don't and the foods I should be eating I can't. Tonight, I tried something new and I have some serious nausea going on. I've only vomited three times since surgery. However, I still have trouble getting in protein and drinking enough water. I can only drink half a protein shake in one hour. If I try to drink any more than half, I get sick.
My question is will I feel normal and what is the average time frame?
