Does anyone know anything about band slippage? Today I had my upper GI and the doctor told me that since he didn't do my last one he couldn't be sure if it is in the right place. He said that he sees other banders with their band in a different spot, I guess but he said that maybe that's where my doctor wants it to be. He said I need to check with her and that she would have the results today. My doctor, however, is in surgery today and most likely I won't speak with her until tomorrow and I'm a nervous wreck thinking that my band might have slipped. I am going on vacation next week and I'm flying so I'm really scared about something happening.
I spoke to someone wlse this morning who also had lapband surgery and has the same surgeon as I do and she said that slippage is very rare. I can't help thinking that something is wrong and I'm really scared. Does anyone know anything about this.
