Excited and nervous

I have waited 3 years to have weight loss surgery and at 530 in the morning I will be arriving at the hospital for gastric bypass. It's been quite and whirlwind. I'm so nervous. Not about the surgery or the pain but I'm just anxious and feeling like something is going to go wrong and they won't be able to do the surgery. I know this is crazy but it seems to good to be true? Just ready for my life back!! Anyone else have the unrealistic fears ?

Good luck on your surgery. Keep us informed when you return home and let us know if there are any problems you need some help with.

Good luck on your surgery today. Stay positive! Everything will go great and you will soon be on the road to recovery!

Those fears are common, but keep good thoughts. I came through with flying colors and so will you. Congrats!

Well surgery happened and I'm home. The gas pain is real and the thought of trying to eat at all is not appealing. I'm very tired but so glad it's done!! Thanks to everyone for the support!
