Post op vs bed

Hello all! Has anyone had any issues post op with sleeping in bed? I feel like the bed is too flat for me to get out of throughout the night. I have tried propping myself up with pillows but by the time I wake up, I am all slouched down.

Many people (including myself) slept in a recliner chair for the first few days after home from surgery. Much easier to deal with than sleeping in bed right after surgery. For myself, after 3 days of that I was able to finally sleep in bed OK.

I slept in a recliner in my living room for the first week, almost. Moving back to me bed was heaven! But yeah, recliner is a good idea if laying flat is hurting you.
