I'd be happy to help/talk to you about it. :D I had my RNY 3 weeks and 2 days ago. How are you feeling? Have you been up to walk around yet?

Had sleeve 1week ago today. Glad to hear you're walking. I couldn't get up for 24 hrs, and I think that set me back. Any gas pain in shoulders?

Hey there. My surgery was 9/2 and I'll tell you one thing...it gets worse before it gets better. I literally had ZERO energy for the first 5 or 6 days after surgery. I slept for the first 4 days. I knew I had to drink n get protein in but I just couldnt. my chest hurt. my belly hurt. my body ached. it was awful!!! but up until about 2 or 3 days ago...I finally started getting some energy and had some motivation to get up n get moving. Things WILL get better and you will start making progression!!! Take each day as it comes...and listen to ur body. :) If I can be of any help, feel free to send me a message. get better soon!!!

yeah energy is a problem right now. Also taking a deep breathe is very painful. I am doing breathing treatment every hour our so but can get above 1500 ml because of the pain

Yes. I did. It goes away after about a week. No matter how much walking I did...it took its time. Hang in there. It will start getting better!

Hi everyone My name is Brenda, and I had the gastric bypass on September 2nd. Thank god I didn't experience much pain after and was able to get up walking shortly after. I too experienced no matter how much I walked it did not help with the gas pains that was the worst for me.Even though I am fresh out of surgery I am here for encouragement and support.Good luck on your journey ????
