Why no Aleeve?

I've read that after surgery you can't take Aleeve any longer. Is it true you can only take Tylenol? That normally doesn't help me.

      Aleve and other NSAIDs can cause damage to your esophagus and stomach. With our stomach almost nonexistent NSAIDs are pretty much out of the question. I'm going to have to talk to my pcp and work on

    I'm going to have to talk to my pcp and work on another type of pain reliever myself. I'm 18 days post and have to have something for my arthritis.
