Anyone else's post op like this?

In just had my NUT appointment yesterday. I'm concerned. All the books I've read, forums, and websites I've read say four stages of post op diet. liquid, puréed, soft, and then solids.

Apparently my surgeon skips all of those! He does ice until I can keep it down, then 24 hour liquid diet, then straight to soft foods for a month.

I'm in shock, panic, utter disbelief! Is this safe?! I'm so nervous now!

Help help please help! Anyone else's like this?

My doc's plan is clear liquids for 1 week, full liquids for 2 weeks, then start soft foods at week 3.

My surgeon gave me my packet. I am one month from surgery. My packet calls for me to stay in each phase until I start getting hungry or hit a certain amount of days. She said each person will progress differently. So mine doesn't have a specific timeline.

I am one month away. My surgery is in August. Reading my comment it doesnt sound specific. Lol. I am tired.
