????TMI Subject ????

Ok it's exactly a week today since my surgery, and no BM this whole time. I took 2 ex lax pills crushed up yesterday, and nothing. I crushed 2 more today and so far nothing. It's obviously only been liquids for the last 3 weeks, and today is first day to incorporate puréed food. So obviously nothing should have come out in that area anyways right? I have no cramping or discomfort. I am having moments of flatulence ???? so I assume it's working right down there !? Anyone else experiencing similar issue? TIA ????

You're welcome. :) Laxatives certainly have their use, but for post-op the cramping they induce is especially cruel, lol. I prefer Miralax or Colase since they work differently and thus don't force any cramping or contractions. But when things are really blocked up, hitting the body from all angles - double dose of Colase chased with a laxative, and if need be a suppository -- will certainly help to clear things out!

Definitely good to know ????

It took two days, with a dose each day for it to work that first time lol. But as I knew, food really wasn't going in, so nothing should be going out lol.
