I am 6 years out from roux n y. I have recently been diagnosed with candy cane syndrome and a hiatal hernia. Constant vomiting and just feeling awful. Anyone else having these problems?

Living on soft foods and soups. I will find out this Thursday about having revision surgery. I am so sick of throwing up. What is the recovery time?

He said if no issues 14 days i could go back to work. Not sure due to jp drains. Im in the medical field and i want incisions closed so i dont get any cooties and end up with them infected.

What is candy cane syndrome? Does anything specific cause it ?

the candy cane roux limb more or less a longer limb other people which allowed me to eat a normal amount of food. The food then would stay in the roux limb and cause the upper abdominal pain and sometimes vomiting. He removed 4 inches of my limb trying to fix my vomiting and nausea.
