Pre op

Hi everyone my name is Emma and this is the first thing I'm posting on here I had a lap band put in years ago and failed miserably on it granted I did think I'd wake up from surgery skinny lol I'm now going for gastric bypass and decided to remove the lap band instead of keeping it in place has anyone kept there's in? Also I'm approved for surgery and all is well on my paperwork end but my surgeon informed me she wants me to lose 40 pounds before surgery because my bmi is really high so I'm trying not to be depressed but it's really hard at times I feel like I'm never going to get there anyone else out there feeling the same.

Oh Emma of course this is worth it! I'm so proud of you that you have chosen to keep moving forward. I don't know you but I can tell that you are driven and reach your goals. I always tell myself that time is going to pass whether I make positive changes or not so I might as well keep on keeping on! Good Luck!????
