I was sleeved on September 12. I cannot believe it has been six months already. Well, things continue to go well. I started out at 335. As of this morning I am at 231.2 for a total loss of 103.8. 17 pounds to go to reach my goal if 215.
My losses have slowed significantly over the last couple of months. I am still steadily losing, though. I hope to reach my goal by May 23 which is the day we leave for a vacation in Costa Rica. I think I have a shot to do it.
My life has changed significantly since my surgery. My day no longer revolves around where and what I am going to eat. I plan my meals and usually stick with the plan. I average around 1100 calories a day. I do exceed that on occasion. I did enjoy some girl scout Cookies recently (Samoas). They were awesome and I do not regret it! I meet with a personal trainer three days a week. I can't say that I love it but I have definitely seen the benefits of it. I also just took up tennis and like it so far. I was able to ditch my cpap as my sleep apnea has resolved. No more snoring! My wife is extremely happy about that. In general, I feel great. Getting the sleeve was one of the smarter things I've done in my life. I wish I had done it sooner. No pictures yet. I'm not going to post any until I hit my goal. Good luck and have a great day!
