Bloated feeling won't go away! :,(

I am 10 days post op and I am still very bloated. This feeling won't go away. It is making it very difficult for me to get much liquid intake whether it be protein or just clear liquid. I have mostly just been sipping water. I am a diabetic and my blood glucose has been running very low because I can't get any carb intake which would normally come from the protein shakes. I feel full all the time. I am miserable. Anyone have any advice?

I remember feeling that same way. I was so bloated and painfully full of gas. It does pass, promise....

You could put a warm heating pad on your belly (with a towel between you and the pad) That sometimes helped relieve mine.

But yes, it will eventually pass. Hang in there.

A warm heating pad and gas x helped me through this period. I was also diabetic and that first 2 weeks was only allowed clear sugar free liquids, broth and Popsicles. Also, I could water down apple juice which did give me some carbs.

The reality is I made it through but the most important thing is to stay hydrated and keep walking. It will make that bloated feeling go away.
