Anyone with BCBS Federal had experience with getting fills paid for? Someone on another forum told me they would not pay for one within 60 days of surgery??

I cant seem to find anything on it in my plan book.

A lot of carriers prohibit fills for a certain period right after surgery, to be in compliance with the manufacturer's guidelines. Last I heard that guideline was 6 weeks, so two months is not out of line.

I have BCBS Federal basic and my Dr told me they cover all fills within 90 days and after that, he thinks they pay for those too. I havent called to see for myself yet as I havent even submitted for approval yet. Im about 2 weeks out from submitting.
