So of course with you seeing yourself everyday, you don't see the results like others do. I could see the scale moving but I couldn't see the weight gone. Well I decided just for giggles to put on a shirt I used to wear. Loved this shirt and the last time i put it on it was way tight around the belly and made me feel horrible. This was of course pre surgery. Well on it goes and not only does it fit, but it's a bit loose. Now I see it, now I understand and now I can start really acknowledging that not only did I do this, but it is working and it is the best decision I could make. Now all i need is to go back to the doctor for labs so I can see on paper that stopping all my meds after this was a good plan as well. I can't wait to find out what my fasting glucose is or what my BP is. This was right and I am soooo glad I did it.
PS..wearing my shirt anyway, big or not...this one will not go in the clothing swap at support this month cuz its my reminder.....
