December 19 surgery date

Looking for support. Enduring pre-op diet. Harder than I thought. No energy. Just want the next 4 days to pass quickly to get to surgery date! Wondering if people typically go to work on the pre-op diet or stay home. I'm home today and wondering if I can go in any day this week!!!

Hi there, I'm just 2 days ahead of you so I'm doing the same things. How long is your preop diet? Mine was 2 weeks. I didn't have any issues with energy at all, I'm just tired of the same old Protein shakes day in and day out. Stick it out, you can do it. We're on the home stretch!

My surgery was 12/1 and I had 2 days of pre-op prep. It's important to get your brain around the loss of energy because you'll have it after surgery too. I am nearly 3-weeks out and my energy is zapped. I was told as my eating plan expands that will change but I know how much it sucks. Hang in there....you'll be done with surgery before you know it!
