Gym Rats - Getting started again?

One month post-op, time to hit the gym again. I'm 51, I'm looking forward to trying to tone up again. What worked for you? Right now I am doing lighter than pre-op weights, more reps and plan on going up 10% per week, but I'm open to suggestions.

Keep the Protein up. I do the gym at least 3 times a week and try to get in at least 150g of protein a day. You will improve very rapidly as the weight comes off. Don't concentrate on just weights and ignore your cardiovascular. I hate the treadmill, but it burns calories and improves endurance........ and of course, cardiac health. ;)
