Protein Shakes & Vitamins

I have Medicare as my Primary Insurance, and Medicaid as my Secondary Insurance, my question is does either of these pay for Protein shakes and Vitamins, I read on a Gastric Bypass Support Group on facebook that some Insurance companies pay for it. So I was wondering if anyone has Medicare and Medicaid, I am also in Michigan, and it paid for it for you? All feed back is welcome...Thanks :)
