FAILED SLEEVE please help

Hi I had a lapband in 2009 which was very successful. Unfortunately it eroded so it came out last year. I was sleeved in February and have had no restriction since day 1. Saw my surgeon yesterday and he suggested another band as opposed to the bypass. Has anyone had a band after a sleeve or a bypass after a sleeve and what were the results - please help
