POST OP Pain

HI,

My surgery is scheduled for June 27, 2014 in Juarez, Mexico with Dr. Rodriquez at the Hospital Angeles. I have been reading post until my eyes are blurred trying to learn all I can. I have not heard anything negative about Dr. Rodriquez, except a couple of people say their pain was not treated well immediately after surgery.

I am a nurse and know all the medications used in the US, however, I am not familiar with Mexico. Has anyone been to this hospital with this Doctor, if so what pain medications were used the first 24-48 hours post op ?

Thanks
