My NUT said no nuts, peanuts, cashews, etc., until at least 6 months out, then small amounts as tolerated.

I've been using Peanut Butter (well, in the form of PB2) all along (well, minus the clear liquid phase). NUT-approved.

I was allowed small amounts of nut butter on purees and soft foods. No nuts themselves until I graduated out of soft foods, which for my surgeon is 6 months post-op.

My surgeon said no nuts, seeds or fibrous raw veggies for 3 months. Mixed nuts are my goto snack almost everyday now.

ah nuts...

I was told that I can have Peanut Butter in my pureed diet and i can have handful of nuts later on. I am 2+ months out and I have one tablespoon of PB almost every day and i would have about 5-8 almonds a day.
