Any singers / vocalists out there?

Hello! I am a trained singer, and I'm pursuing RNY. I have some major gigs coming up so I need to try and time when I have my surgery.

For those that sing, how long until you felt good again? 2 months? 3 months? More?

Any insight you can provide is much appreciated!!!!

    I think it depends...

    I was back singing at church about 3 weeks out. Just don't over do it. The more time u allow to heal the better imo.

    I also am a singer. I am not sure how long it will be after my surgery that I will be able to go back at it. I guess it is up to each individual and how comfortable they feel. My surgery is in 16 days so I guess I'll find out soon. :-) Val
