pre op issues

Hello,

I am currently in the preop circus jumping through all the insurance hoops.

My package was submitted to insurance a couple weeks ago. I had not heard anything back in a while so I called the insurance company and they said they sent a request for more info back via fax and never heard anything from my surgeons office.

This mirrors problems I've had with the surgeons office on other things offices have faxed in. To make matters worse, whenever I call the coordinators it goes straight to voice mail. Of course I leave a voicemail but they don't return my call and I have to continuously harass them by calling every day to make sure the problem is taken care of.

Is this normal? Feeling like I should just start all over with another center, but that would be really frustrating because I would have to jump through more hoops and pay more money.
