Cigna ***

Hi everyone, I'm new to this app and have been reading everyone's posts and I am truly inspired.

Yesterday I had my consultation with my doctor and he approved me for GBS and has sent the approval over to my insurance.

I have cigna HMO. Does anyone have any experience with getting approved and also the steps?

Any advice would be great.

Thank you in advance.

I have cigna as well. I was denied the 1st time because my PCP's office forgot to send one piece of info. Once I resubmitted everything again, I was approved within 2 days. I hope this helps.

Did you have to complete 3 or 6 months of weigh ins?

I had to do 3 months of nutritional consults with the dietician. Once that was complete, It took about a month for me to get my surgery date, but keep in mind that was only because I had to submit my paperwork twice. I also had to have 2 years of previous weigh-ins from my PCP.
