@Mentions is now supported!

We're happy to announce a new feature called @Mentions. This feature allows users to receive a notification when they are mentioned in a post. Just add the @ symbol before any member name, and they'll receive a notice that they were mentioned in your post or status update.

Example: @@Ken S.

Alex may regret this...

It's a bit nitpicky....you need to type out the username exactly as it appears on the site. So @AlexBrecher wouldn't work.

So I can show how narcissistic @PdxMan is ... nice @@Alex Brecher! Is it OK to have punctuation immediately following or is it looking for a space delineation?

and it's case-sensitive too.... @@LipstickLady so @@Band2Sleever doesn't work, but @@Band2Sleever does!

It doesn't work if you @ yourself. Keep the feedback coming @@Band2Sleever and we'll update this option accordingly.
