We're happy to announce a new feature called @Mentions. This feature allows users to receive a notification when they are mentioned in a post. Just add the @ symbol before any member name, and they'll receive a notice that they were mentioned in your post or status update.

Example: @@Ken S.

It's a bit nitpicky....you need to type out the username exactly as it appears on the site. So @AlexBrecher wouldn't work.

Iy doesn't display consistently . So in @ post the mention of @@Alex Brecher isn't hyperlinked blue... but it works if you click on it
