Nationwide Insurance

:help: Hello...I have a question about Nationwide Insurance. My friend is wanting to have the procedure done and does not know if her insurance---Nationwide covers? Does anyone know anything about this plan?

If you do, it would be of great help so I can let her know. Thanks.

Because every policy is different, your friend should call the insurance company personally and ask them if they cover WLS, if they do, then she needs to be more specific and ask about the lap band itself, and what the qualifications are. They should be able to tell her over the phone. She should also have a policy book that the information would be in, but its always best just to call them. I know this isnt much, but its a start. I wish your friend the best of luck!!!

Thanks MEW for the info. She does not currently have a company insurance booklet, and for some odd reason, they do not offer one either. But, I will tell her to call customer service on her card and ask, or I will call them for her.

Thanks FaithMD, I will have her do that. I just hope she can get it done, I think she will be so much happier.
