Hi Debbie G,

I just had my surgery on Dec 30th 2013. I started at 271 and am now down about 40 lbs today. I feel as if I should be down more lbs, but everyone keeps saying that I have to realize that it's only been 2 months exactly. I'm 8 weeks post op. I suppose 40 lbs is awesome in just 2 months. I was extremly sendentary before surgery. I can't do p90x yet, but I'm walking (with short intervals of running in between), taking Water aeobics, and slowly but surely trying to be more active than I used to be. Do you think that I am on track to see major weight loss? I've heard of people losing and they don't ecercise much at all, but I want to know if you have to become a fitness guru in order to see results? Also, you mentioned in one of your post that you eat less carbs. How many are we talking per meal? How many for the entire day also? I'm trying to find out how many I should be eating per meal because my dietician was not the best. How many calories do you consume now per day?

Thank you,

LaDonna
